Privacy Policy

Dewey is a water tracking app made by HMBL Labs, LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we do not show ads, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name your provider shares. Used to create and secure your account.
Profile settings. The details you enter during setup so Dewey can suggest a daily goal: sex, weight, activity level, climate, and preferred units. You can change these anytime.
Hydration logs. The drinks you record: type, amount, and time. This is the app; without it there is nothing to track.
Reminder settings and timezone. So reminders arrive during your day, not at 3am.
Push token. A device identifier that lets us deliver reminders you asked for. Removed when you sign out.
Purchase records. When you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We receive a receipt and subscription status, never your card details.

What we do not do

No advertising, and no ad tracking of any kind.
No selling or renting your data. Ever.
No collecting data we do not need. Dewey has no analytics profile of you beyond what is listed above.

Who processes data for us

Dewey runs on a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Supabase - database and authentication (account, profile, logs).
RevenueCat - subscription status and receipts.
Apple - payments, and sign in if you use Sign in with Apple.
Google - sign in, if you use Google sign-in.
Expo - push notification delivery.
Cloudflare - serves this website, with standard request logs.

Health note

Your hydration data stays in your Dewey account. We do not share it with insurers, employers, or data brokers. Dewey is a habit tracker, not a medical device, and your logs are treated as personal content, not clinical data.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, which permanently removes your account, profile, and hydration history from our systems. You can also email [email protected] and we will delete it for you.

Children

Dewey is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Most of this is available directly in the app; for anything else, email us. Depending on where you live you may have additional legal rights, and we honor them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and note it in the app. We will not quietly weaken it.
